Linekind Electrical

Residential electrical · Melbourne

Routing, done considerately.

Linekind Electrical identity board showing primary, stacked, icon and monochrome variants.
Primary, stacked, icon, wordmark, one-colour and reversed masters. Six files that are one identity, each earning its place by solving a size or a substrate the others cannot.

A trade identity for a fictional residential electrician, aimed at homeowners, renovators and small property operators. The brief ruled out every convention the category leans on — no lightning bolts, no plugs, no roofs, no shields, no technology blue.

The name sets electrical routing against a more considerate service attitude. The custom LK continuity mark uses two measured paths, four terminal points and one controlled gap: planning, connection, and a scope that visibly resolves.

Chivo’s broad forms give the wordmark van-scale recognition without the compressed aggression the trade usually reaches for. Noto Sans Mono handles quote numbers, dates and route labels. The palette is taken from job-site information rather than screens — carbon linework, warm plaster, cable red, test-tag yellow, conduit grey.

Continuity mark

Logo system

Two measured paths, four terminals, one deliberate gap. The gap is the point — a scope with a visible end.

Reversed mark

Logo system

Knocked out of carbon, for the vehicle field and the switchboard label.

Business card, front

Business cards

Australian 90 × 55mm, set on the routing grid so the mark and the contact block share one axis.

Business card, back

Business cards

Negative space used as reassurance rather than filled with a service list.

A4 letterhead

Stationery

A4 with a matching continuation sheet, both holding the same routing grid at a reduced header weight.

Email signature

Email signature

Responsive HTML with a mobile variant, built from live markup rather than a flattened image.

A5 flyer

Collateral

Two-sided A5, organised by the routing grid so the service information reads as a sequence.

Social template

Collateral

One of three — feed, promo and story — built on the same module so the grid stays recognisable.

Service vehicle

Applications

The only AI-generated bitmap in the package is the blank, unbranded van. Every piece of identity artwork on it was composited from vector masters and measured against the visible panel.

Switchboard label

Applications

The small-format end of the system — where the mark has to stay legible at a size a sign never faces.
