Morrowfold Bakehouse
Bakery · Coffee · Morning counter
Morning, folded well.

A contemporary bakery identity that had to feel warm and human without reaching for wheat symbols, faux-vintage distress or the usual rustic cues. The system needed to hold together at a 24px favicon, on Australian print stationery, and on a storefront sign.
The name puts the coming morning next to the repeated fold of a maker’s process. The custom MF mark turns two measured planes into a compact M, with a red hinge and baseline standing in for the fold and the first horizon — an abstract page and rising light rather than a literal croissant or oven.
Newsreader carries the editorial warmth; Manrope keeps prices, dates and invoice lines unambiguous. The Measured Dawn palette sets botanical ink and flour paper against a kiln-red signal, so registration lines and repeated modules tie the rhythm of baking to the precision of printmaking.

Primary logo
Logo systemThe MF fold-mark paired with a custom-drawn wordmark and a small Bakehouse descriptor. The mark is optically centred, not merely centred on its bounding box.
Fold-mark
Logo systemTwo continuous planes meeting at a controlled hinge. Abstract enough to read as a page, a layer or a horizon, without illustrating any one of them.
Reversed mark
Logo systemThe same geometry knocked out of the ink field, for dark packaging and signage.
Business card, front
Business cardsAustralian 90 × 55mm. The mark holds the centre axis; everything else defers to it.
Business card, back
Business cardsThe reverse carries the contact block and a single registration rule rather than a repeat of the logo.
A4 letterhead
StationeryNo bleed, so it prints on an office laser and on letterpress stock without trimming. A continuation sheet carries the same grid with a reduced header.
- Format
- A4, 210 × 297mm
- Bleed
- None — office-printer safe
Tax invoice
StationeryA working Australian tax invoice, not a layout sketch — the GST line was calculated and checked rather than typeset as sample text.
Email signature
Email signatureResponsive HTML, built as a table so it survives Outlook. Manrope falls back cleanly because no signature can rely on a webfont.
A5 flyer
CollateralTwo-sided, set on the asymmetric editorial grid that the campaign material uses throughout.
Social template
CollateralOne of three templates — feed, promo and story — sharing a module system so posts stay recognisable in a scroll.
Packaging mockup
ApplicationsThe photograph was generated with no logo and no text on it. The identity was composited on afterwards from the vector masters and measured against the surface centre.
Storefront sign
ApplicationsA large-format test — the third size the mark had to survive, after 16mm print and a 24px icon.
