RIVEX Advisory
Corporate advisory · Melbourne
Where strategic minds shape capital decisions.

A corporate advisory firm needed a usable identity system built out from a logo that existed only as a flat image. The supplied file was a 1200×990 raster pasted into a Word document — no vectors, no outlines, nothing that could be scaled to a sign or separated for print.
So the mark was rebuilt by measuring the pixels. A least-squares fit over the ring showed a true circle, radius 165.03, deviating no more than 2.73px — confirming nothing had been distorted in the original. The X turned out to be a perfect 180×180 square rotated 45°, with uniform 9.2px arms and round caps. The apparent taper in the raster was just those caps; a horizontal slice reads 13px, which is 9.2 ÷ cos 45°, not a real change in weight.
The rebuilt mark rasterises to a 96.38% pixel match against the original, with the remainder being antialiasing on curve edges rather than geometry. That precision is the point: the client keeps the mark they approved, and now owns it as scalable vector artwork with one-colour, reversed and on-light variants for stock it was never previously able to sit on.
The stationery follows the same restraint — a single gold rule, a measured left margin, and contact details set small at the foot so correspondence reads as correspondence rather than as advertising.

- Mark
- 72 × 72 px, explicit width and height
