Industrial property, presented with purpose

GiGi Industrial & Commercial is a commercial real estate agency in Dandenong South, working across Melbourne's south-east industrial corridor. Its website needs to serve people with very different briefs: a tenant looking for warehouse space, an owner-occupier comparing buildings, or a landlord choosing someone to manage an investment.

Blend Designs upgraded GiGi's website from WordPress to a custom Next.js platform that brings those journeys together. Industrial photography, a restrained dark palette and clear property information give GiGi a confident online presence, while a live Rex CRM integration keeps property listings connected to the team's everyday workflow.

What the website needed to do

  • Help visitors find suitable space: organise properties around location, sale or lease, budget and building area.
  • Present the agency's specialisation: put industrial and commercial property at the centre of the design.
  • Keep listings connected: sync properties from Rex CRM instead of maintaining a separate website catalogue.
  • Make the next conversation easy: give visitors clear routes from a property, service or team profile to the agency.
  • Work on a phone: carry the search, property photography and contact details into a compact, usable layout.

What we built

From WordPress to a custom Next.js website

The project replaced GiGi's WordPress website with a Next.js front end designed around commercial property. It was an opportunity to rethink how visitors find listings, compare spaces and contact the agency, while giving the public site a consistent design across property, service and team pages.

A visual identity grounded in industrial property

The design keeps GiGi's recognisable branding and pairs it with charcoal surfaces, pale blue accents and large warehouse imagery. The homepage introduces the agency through a photographic slideshow, then moves into property search and current opportunities. The buildings are the focus, with generous images and a consistent layout for addresses, floor areas and pricing.

Property search built around a real brief

Visitors can narrow their search by sale or lease, property type, suburb, budget, building area and keywords. Separate sale and lease pages give buyers and tenants a direct starting point. Listing cards surface the details people need to compare spaces before opening a full property page.

Live listings connected to Rex CRM

The launched website automatically syncs property listings from Rex CRM. GiGi's team can keep managing its listings in the system it uses for agency operations, with the public website connected to that workflow. This integration is central to the project: the website is a working property platform as well as a presentation of the business.

Property pages that support a decision

Individual listing pages bring together property photography, location, pricing and building information. Visitors can move from browsing opportunities to reviewing a specific space, with contact options close to the information that prompted their interest.

People, services and local experience

The site also gives landlords and vendors a way to assess the agency itself. About and team pages introduce the people behind GiGi, while the asset management page explains another part of the business beyond sales and leasing. A sold and leased section presents past listings separately from current opportunities.

A consistent experience on mobile

The layouts adapt across desktop and phone screens, including navigation, property cards and enquiry routes. The gallery below shows the live homepage, property search, a listing, asset management, about and contact pages at both sizes.

The technical foundation

The WordPress-to-Next.js upgrade uses React, with deployment on Vercel and a live connection to Rex CRM. This combines a custom front end with the agency's existing listing workflow.

Dedicated URLs for properties, services and team profiles give the site a clear structure. Page titles and descriptions identify the content of each page, while Dandenong South and the wider south-east corridor provide useful local context throughout the website.

The launch result

GiGi's new Next.js website is live, replacing its previous WordPress site and bringing its brand, available properties, team and services into one consistent experience. Buyers and tenants can explore spaces, owners can review the agency, and property listings sync from Rex CRM. The result is a completed platform built around the way the business works.
