Original Concepts, Drawn For You

Every mark is designed from scratch for your business. Nothing is pulled from a stock library, adapted from a template, or generated and lightly tidied. If a logo is going on your van and your invoices for the next decade, it should not also belong to someone else.

Built To Work At Every Size

A logo has to survive a 16-pixel favicon, a business card, a shopfront sign and a shirt embroidery. We design in vector and test at real sizes, including the single-colour and reversed versions most designers forget until the signwriter asks for them.

Colour, Type And The Rest Of It

A logo alone is not a brand. You get a defined colour palette with hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone values, chosen typefaces for headings and body, and rules for spacing and placement so everything you produce afterwards looks like it came from the same business.

Every File Format You Will Need

AI and EPS for printers and signwriters, SVG for your website, PNG with transparency for documents, JPG for anything that will not take transparency, and a favicon set. Horizontal, stacked, icon-only, full colour, single colour and reversed — all of it, in one organised folder.

Tested Where It Will Actually Live

We mock the logo up on the things you will really use: a vehicle wrap, a shopfront, a uniform, a business card, an invoice header, a social profile. Problems show up on a van long before they show up on a screen, which is why we look there first.

Full Ownership, In Writing

You own the finished logo outright — full copyright transferred, source files included, no licence fees and no ongoing permission needed. It is yours to trademark, to hand to any printer, and to give to any future designer.

What A $50 Logo Actually Costs You

The cheap end of the logo market looks like a bargain until you try to use what you bought. The most common problem is not that the design is poor — it is that it only exists as a JPG at one size. The signwriter needs vector artwork and cannot use it. The embroiderer needs a single-colour version that does not exist. The web developer needs an SVG and a transparent PNG. What arrives is a picture of a logo rather than a logo, and rebuilding it properly costs more than commissioning it properly would have.

The second problem is exclusivity. Marketplace logos and generated marks are frequently variations on stock icons that have been sold to other businesses, sometimes in your own industry and your own city. You cannot trademark a mark you do not exclusively own, and discovering that after you have wrapped a van and printed two years of stationery is an expensive lesson. Every mark we draw is original and the copyright is transferred to you in writing.

The third is that a logo on its own does not do very much. What makes a small business look established is consistency: the same colours, the same typefaces, the same spacing across the website, the invoices, the signage and the socials. That system is the actual deliverable. The logo is just the part of it people can point at.

Our Logo Design Process

Direction agreed before anything is drawn, so revisions stay about refinement rather than starting over.

1

Brand Discovery

We work through what your business actually does, who buys from you, who you compete with, and where the logo has to live. We also ask what you dislike, which is usually more revealing than what you like.

2–3 days
2

Direction And References

You get a short visual direction — the territory we intend to explore, colour thinking, and typographic tone — before any logo is drawn. Agreeing direction here saves weeks of revisions later.

2–3 days
3

Concept Design

Original concepts drawn in vector, each presented in context rather than floating on a white background, so you can judge them as a brand rather than as artwork.

4–7 days
4

Refinement

You pick a direction and we refine it — spacing, weight, proportion, colour, and the small adjustments that separate a nearly-right logo from a finished one. Revision rounds are included, not billed by the hour.

3–5 days
5

Variations And Testing

Horizontal, stacked and icon-only lockups, single-colour and reversed versions, minimum sizes defined, and clear-space rules set. Everything tested at small sizes and against dark and light backgrounds.

2–4 days
6

Files And Guidelines

Final delivery of the complete file pack plus a brand guidelines document covering colour values, typography, usage rules and the things not to do. Copyright transfers to you at handover.

Logo Design FAQs

A properly designed logo with the full file pack starts at $499. A complete brand identity with typography, guidelines and stationery is $999, and a full brand kit including signage and vehicle artwork is $1,999. Melbourne studios commonly charge $2,500–$8,000 for equivalent work. The cheap end of the market — $50 marketplace logos and AI generators — costs less because you are usually getting something generic that may not be exclusively yours.
