Upgrade your WordPress site to Next.js
Slow pages, plugin updates every week, security warnings. We rebuild your site in Next.js, bring your content across, and look after hosting and security for you.
What changes
Less to look after. Faster for your customers.
Updates
WordPress: Plugin, theme and core updates, often every week.
With us: No plugins, so there's nothing for you to update.
Security
WordPress: Every plugin is more code that can be attacked.
With us: Far less to attack, and we look after security for you.
Speed
WordPress: Page builders and plugins add weight to every page.
With us: Lean pages, built ahead of time and served from Vercel's global network.
Hosting
WordPress: Hosting, backups and caching plugins to manage.
With us: We host it on Vercel and look after it.
Real client sites
Most of our clients came to us from WordPress
Before: their old WordPress sites, from the web archive. After: the same businesses today.

What clients say on Google
“Excellent web designer, excellent service, job well done. Really happy with website”

“Blendi was very professional and great to work with. The quality of work was exceptional and commitment to deliver to tight timelines despite changing needs is commendable. Everything from the logo, to letterheads, to electronic email signatures, to business cards was of a very high standard. As a business owner with multiple businesses who has worked with other web && digital designers, I will always go back to Blend Designs.”

“am extremely satisfied and truly grateful for the outstanding work of. Blend Designs – Web Design Melbourne & Doveton .Even though I live in Germany and he is based in Australia, our collaboration was excellent — very professional, fast, and with clear communication at every step. He created my website www.fita-service.de with exceptional dedication, a modern design, and excellent functionality. Every request I had was handled with precision and care. I am genuinely thankful for this cooperation and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a serious, creative, and reliable professional to build a high-quality website.”

“Incredible experience working with the Blend Designs team! They handled my project remotely (I'm in the US) and knocked it out of the park. My new site, prokidsplace.com, is exactly what I wanted modern, clean, and professional. Couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks team!”

How the upgrade works
- 1
Free quote
Send us your website. We look at what's on it, what's working and what's slowing it down, then confirm the price and timeline in writing.
- 2
Rebuild on a private link
We rebuild it in Next.js on a preview link only you can see. Your WordPress site stays live the whole time.
- 3
Content and redirects
Your pages, photos and posts come across. Old page addresses redirect to the new ones, so links in Google and around the web keep working.
- 4
Launch, then we look after it
We switch it over and host it on Vercel. From then on, hosting and security are ours to handle.
Questions people ask
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Rankings can move during any rebuild, and nobody can honestly guarantee them. We keep your useful pages and addresses, redirect the ones that change, test the redirects before launch and watch Google Search Console afterwards to catch problems early.
Can I still update the website myself?
Yes, if you want to. We can add a simple editor for the parts you change often, or keep WordPress behind the scenes purely as an editor, which is how Peninsula Tiles & Stone runs. Tell us how you update the site today and we'll suggest the simplest option.
What happens to my domain and email?
Your domain stays yours. Before launch we check where your email is hosted, so moving the website doesn't interrupt it.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many pages and features your site has, so we quote after looking at it. The quote is free, and you get the price and timeline in writing before any work starts. Our standard packages are on the website redesign page.
Why Next.js instead of a new WordPress theme?
A new theme still runs on WordPress, with the same plugins and updates. Next.js is a modern framework made by Vercel: pages are built ahead of time so they load fast, and there's no plugin system to maintain.
Do you work outside Melbourne?
Yes. We're based in Melbourne and work with businesses across Australia over video calls and shared links.
